Monday 25th June 2018

Join Sophie at Daylesford for this creative and experimental full day floristry workshop where you will create an abundant floral tablescape made up of sweeping seasonal arrangements that evoke an English country garden.

You will learn how to create a beautiful bouquet using carefully handpicked seasonal flowers sourced from local growers, including antique garden roses and highly scented sweetpeas. These garden beauties will be mixed with homegrown and foraged herbs and foliage to add texture and interest.

Using a colour palette of soft, romantic shades of pale you will then create a beautiful selection of arrangements of different sizes. These will be arranged in Blossom & Dill’s lovely eclectic collection of antique vessels, vintage glass bottles and inkwells. These individual pieces will be combined into an abundant tablescape layered with soft colour, texture and the scent evocative of an English country garden. The stunning final display will be finished with a selection of vintage props, candles and shells.

You are very welcome to take a generous bouquet of flowers home with you and students are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture their work in progress and the final display.

TIMINGS: 10am – 3pm
COST: £185
